Stock Performance
Above is long term price performance chart of the Stock. The stock got listed in year 2011 at price point of 61. Over a period of one decade it gave four times return to investors.
The stock also gives decent dividend as well. Recently due to NBFC crisis it has corrected more than fifty percent but still has given decent returns over the years.
My Opinion
Non Banking Financial Companies that is NBFC was hot favorite section recently in 2014 bull run. But in year 2018 due to ILFS and DHFL crisis people got their hands burn in this space.
One bad loan can impact these Companies hard. So it is always advised to invest in big companies which have more risk taking ability and can with stand more than one bad loan incident.
I would not recommend investing into any very small NBFC space. There is a danger investing in them and it is better to invest in market leaders.The small company investment (for Finance companies) is suited to big investors.
They have great risk taking ability and can with stand one or more bad investment decisions.
