Overview
Gann calculator is pure trading tool. In this post I will not discuss theory around it. Theory is not important for trading using it. It will just confuse you as well as be wastage of time.
I will discuss how the tool can be used to trade in Nifty as well as Bank Nifty. Note this can be applied to other instruments as well like Stocks and Currencies but I prefer Index trading using this tool.
I have created Nifty as well as Bank Nifty online tools for free usage. Below videos discuss the tool along with details on how to use it for your trading. You must watch this video for better understanding of the tool and using it for your trading or inclusion in trading plan.
How I use it?
Note I prefer using the Previous day close price to get understanding of next day price ranges as per the Gann Calculator. I do not use real time price movement on that day for trading as it would require continuous monitoring of prices.
The decision is based on previous day close price instead of current day live price. As trade is performed quite early in the day after initial movement has settled down.
