Gujarat Poly Electronics was previously known as Gujarat Poly-AVX Electronics limited. IT manufactures Capacitors and Varistors. The Company is jointly promoted by Polychem limited and Gujarat Industrial Investment Corporation Limited.

The Company has plant located in Gandhinagar in Gujarat. It has offices in New Delhi, Banglore and Mumbai
Stock Performance
Above is long term price performance chart of the Stock. The Stock has given returns in long term graph considering steel fall in stock prices in recent times. It has corrected to below 10 levels from 40 odd levels in last couple of years.
Even if you consider that fall into account it has given around 6 times return in last two decade. It has not paid any dividend which is one major negative for investors.
My Opinion
Gujarat Poly Electronics is in business of Electronics Component creation. The products created by this Company are Capacitor and Varsitor. These two products are used in Electronics industry. It also stores and markets products likes Diodes of Diotec Semiconductors, Germany.
Over the years it has maintained a steady performance. The performance is neither increasing or decreasing with time. This is major concern for the Company.
There are not many listed players in this space. This makes it a decent Company to study further. Capacitors are used in wide range of industries. But it has not made most of the market opportunity which shows that Company is very slow in moving forward with growth plan.
